Your Role
Serve as a key member of the Supply Chain Maintenance team in Mumbai, safeguarding life science manufacturing operations.
Maintain, inspect, and repair a wide range of electrical systems and equipment, including diesel generators, transformers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electrical panels.
Maximize equipment uptime by proactive maintenance, rapid diagnostics, and effective fault isolation.
Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards through disciplined work practices and documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to embed Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) culture.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and maintenance processes.
Drive energy optimization and cost reduction through automation, monitoring, and optimization of electrical systems.
Prioritize safe working practices and risk mitigation to protect personnel and ensure consistent operations.
Who You Are
You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
You bring hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including diesel generators, transformers, electrical panels, and variable frequency drives.
You have a solid understanding of local and national electrical safety regulations and ensure all work is performed in full compliance with applicable standards.
You are experienced in maintaining accurate maintenance records, logs, and technical documentation.
You have contributed to or supported continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You demonstrate a proactive approach to energy optimization, including experience with automation-based solutions to reduce energy consumption.
An Electrical Supervisor License or equivalent certification is an advantage.
