Key responsibilities for this role include:
Provide Serve as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for logistics operations, SAP transaction support, inventory accuracy issues, system-interface failures and 3PL operational escalations.
Monitor daily operational flows across SAP, WMS, TMS and EDI, including interface exceptions, IDoc or message failures, order updates, inventory postings and master-data related issues.
Work closely with third-party logistics providers and internal teams to ensure service delivery in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, quality expectations and escalation timelines.
Support high levels of SAP inventory accuracy through timely issue investigation, stock reconciliation, transaction review, batch or lot integrity checks, and proactive defect prevention.
Use operational data, Power BI, advanced Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends, exceptions, root causes and improvement opportunities.
Lead or support structured root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, process mapping, standard work updates and Lean continuous-improvement initiatives.
Support GDP and quality-compliant distribution processes, including SOP adherence, deviation support, audit-readiness activities and quality escalation where required.
Act as a functional expert for distribution processes, WMS/TMS workflows, EDI/interface management, SAP logistics execution and end-to-end issue resolution.
Partner with IT, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance and external partners to resolve cross-functional process gaps and prevent recurring operational failures.
Support system change, testing, user acceptance testing, process documentation and training for SAP, WMS, TMS, EDI or reporting improvements.
Apply a digital and continuous-improvement mindset, including appropriate use of automation, analytics and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve visibility, control and decision-making.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Degree Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Science or related qualification is beneficial.
Power BI, Power Query, advanced Excel, data visualisation or dashboard development experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with WMS, TMS, EDI, IDoc monitoring, interface troubleshooting or logistics control-tower environments is beneficial.
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice, regulated pharmaceutical supply chains, temperature-controlled logistics, serialization or track-and-trace requirements is beneficial.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP TM or SAP master-data governance is desirable.
Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, standard work or structured problem-solving experience is beneficial.
Comfort using digital tools, automation and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve analysis, reporting, documentation and exception management.
Ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations, actions and stakeholder updates.
