Job Description
The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and stakeholders in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Planning
Map decision processes and identify key decision makers
Develop action plans aligned with AMGEN strategy & sales targets, together with Commercial team
Contribute to marketing/commercial strategy, gather competitive intelligence
Execution
Establish and manage high-quality relationships with HCPs and stakeholders
Demonstrate knowledge of retail practices, clinics, hospitals, and stakeholder needs
Ensure access to new products in hospital tendering formularies
Implement and monitor approved action plans for priority accounts
Develop best practices collaborating with SM and peers, access resources for projects from Cross-Functional Team
Authority
PoA implementation, development and implementation of approved TBPs (actions, budget)
Output
Sales performance vs target
Action plans developed, delivered and implemented on time
Amgen products access (tenders, monthly orders)
High-quality business relationships
Daily customer activity report, periodic activity reports – trackers, account updates completed on time
Minimum Requirements
University Degree
Minimum 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry sales, knowledge of hospital environment
Proficient in scientific/promotional presentation, able to read scientific articles
Fluency in local language and conversational English
Track record of achieving SMART objectives
Computer skills (CRM, MS Office)
Willing to learn, available for business travel
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio)medical sciences
In-depth industry knowledge, local decision makers knowledge
Experience with various disciplines and organizational levels
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Customer Relation Management principles
Project management experience
