Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you.A junior manufacturing technician contributes to the manufacturing of radiopharmaceutical products, at Novartis in Baarle-Nassau, according to the Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Batch Manufacturing Records as laid down in the quality system.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute the production process of pharmaceutical products by operating equipment and performing manual tasks.Execute chemical processes such as electrolysis and chromatography as part of the production process and responsibilities.Prepare chromatography columns for the production process.Prepare and execute the recycle line process including target ampoule preparation.Clear and clean production line and equipment.Identify unexpected incidents, condition or detail and escalate to production shift lead.Remedying first line failures.Keep up to date with training requirements.May act as trainer to train colleagues.Essential Requirements: MBO or HBO degree (Engineering, Biology and Medical Laboratory Research, or Chemical Analyst) or in a similar field, MTS or MLO.Knowledge of a pharmaceutical or control production environment.Analytical skills that allow you to see what can be improved.Attention to detail.Open to Shift workNice to have/ Desirable Requirements: Experience with production or GMP is an advantageCommitment To Diversity And InclusionNovartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
