Job Description:

For our Global Digital & Information Technology (GDIT)-Team we are looking for support in Munich as:

IT regional Business Partner - Commercial (f/m/d)

to act as the primary interface between IT and business stakeholders for the Region Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The working location is Munich.

In this role, you will partner closely with commercial affiliates to shape high-impact digital initiatives and ensure their successful delivery and adoption.You will play a key role in defining and executing a multi-year digital roadmap, ensuring technology investments directly support business priorities, enhance customer engagement, and align with Ipsen’s global strategy.

Your key responsibilities

Act as a strategic business partner and advisor to commercial and enabling functions

Own and shape the regional digital roadmap, translating business strategy into high-impact digital initiatives with clear business value

Capture, assess, and prioritise digital demand, balancing local needs with global standards and enterprise priorities

Act as the primary IT point of contact for the region, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and visibility across business and IT stakeholders.

Lead and coordinate the delivery of local and global digital initiatives with global IT and digital teams, ensuring successful implementation and business adoption across the region

Drive innovation and best practices, bringing external perspectives on emerging digital and technology trends

Operate effectively in a complex, matrixed global environment, influencing without direct authority

Your profile & expertise

10+ years of experience in Digital, IT, or Business Transformation or Consulting roles.

Experience in business partnering, project/program management, and cross functional delivery

Strong experience working with commercial teams in the pharmaceutical industry.

Good understanding of commercial field operations and customer engagement models

Strong knowledge of CRM and commercial platforms (e.g., Veeva) and digital enablement models

Ability to influence, challenge, and engage stakeholders at all levels.

A strong business-oriented mindset, able to translate complex needs into clear, value-driven solutions.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a matrix and international environment.

Fluent in English and German
