As an Immunology Sales Representative, you will be a key team member engaging with customers to address identified needs, educating key stakeholders about our immunology products, and actively working to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals within your territory.

This is a field-based sales position that is responsible for an assigned territory.

Candidates must be willing to travel to visit with customers in-person and for national sales meetings/industry conferences.

Overnight travel may be required in some territories, estimated 0-25% of the time.

Travel (%) varies based on candidate’s location within the geography.

Key responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

Working with the other team members in the territory, attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.

In collaboration with territory counterparts, ensure customers have a seamless experience with our Immunology team, meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers, while building business relationships and trust to uncover and comprehend their needs.

In customer engagements, employ approved resources and messaging to communicate a compelling, patient-centered rationale for our Immunology products in their indicated uses.

Possess knowledge of the workings of the extended care team/multidisciplinary team, possible treatment options, pathways, and guidelines, recognizing the impact of those options on patients.

Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment, including multiple channels of drug distribution (Immunology group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies).

Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed.

Comprehend complex accounts and local market interdependencies to proactively develop and execute short- and long-term plans in collaboration with the local team and district manager.

Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and needs to support engaging and relevant conversations about the product portfolio.

Ensure a consistent customer experience across our Company’s division and functional areas and share key learnings to support customer needs by effectively communicating and collaborating with key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.

Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience, work experience in the healthcare/scientific field with immunology experience being strongly preferred (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) that is not sales related, professional marketing experience, or military experience.

Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.

Travel the amount of time the role requires, including overnight travel.

Reside within the territory.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Documented history of strong performance in immunology sales, gastroenterology, marketing, and/or clinical roles.

Product launch experience.

Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, and fulfillment processes.

Familiarity with academic medical centers, IDNs, and immunology organized medical groups.

Deep understanding for and experience in complex and competitive specialty markets.
