Hybrid Project Manager - Radimetrics and Radiology Device and Software
PURPOSE
Bayer’s Engagement Management squad within the Radiology business unit offers functional project management expertise to a wide range of internal and external customers for Bayer Radiology’s portfolio of products. As part of the organization’s customer squads, the Engagement Management team collaborates with internal teams to ensure customers receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their desired outcomes.
The Hybrid Project Manager (Radimetrics and Radiology Device and Software) is responsible for centrally managing, developing, and leading successful project implementations to ensure Radiology business and customer requirements are delivered in a timely, high quality, and cost-effective manner. This highly collaborative role requires the ability to hold peers accountable and mobilize subject matter expertise to deliver exceptional value to customers.
This position employs standard project management processes, methodologies, communications, and tools to coordinate and communicate implementation requirements, tasks, and deliverables to ensure agreed-upon outcomes are achieved. The Project Manager continually develops advanced project management and leadership competencies to drive successful outcomes, influence without authority, and contribute within Bayer’s Dynamic Shared Ownership environment.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all aspects of Radimetrics software upgrades and migrations, including operating system updates, application version upgrades, infrastructure transitions, and device and injector software implementations.
Develop project plans and schedules that facilitate stakeholder alignment, seamless execution, and effective communication, resulting in successful healthcare and operational outcomes.
Partner with Technical, Clinical, Connectivity, Sales, and Field Service teams to confirm customer readiness for upgrades, migrations, and installations, including connectivity requirements, training, and testing activities. Proactively remove roadblocks to ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout implementation.
Demonstrate adaptability and sound judgment while managing changing priorities, evolving business processes, and new ways of working.
Build effective relationships with customer stakeholders including clinical teams, administrators, IT personnel, construction, and engineering teams, outside contractors, and OEM partners to drive project success.
Utilize Salesforce applications to document engagement timelines, risks, action items, and all relevant project information.
Adhere to standardized Engagement Management squad processes and communication standards.
Maintain Pacific or Eastern Time Zone core working hours as required to meet customer and business demands.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant project management or coordination experience; OR Associate’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma, GED, or relevant military experience with a minimum of 10 years of customer-facing experience managing orders or projects.
Ability to apply technical fluency in healthcare software, integration, and infrastructure environments to anticipate challenges, validate readiness, proactively manage risks, and engage appropriate technical experts throughout project implementation.
Experience in a customer-facing role such as Technical Assistance Center, Field Service, Customer Support, or Sales, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a broad range of customer needs and expectations.
High technical competency in software installation preparedness.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to standardized processes and deliver consistent communications while managing complex, high-volume project environments.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build trust, influence peers, and foster accountability in a rapidly evolving environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience managing complex healthcare software, infrastructure, or technology implementation projects.
Foundational technical competency across Bayer’s complete product portfolio, including room readiness and implementation requirements.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Scope: United States.
Internal Partners: Radimetrics Solution Delivery, Sales, Clinical, Field Service, and Connectivity teams.
Customer Stakeholders: Clinical teams, administrators, IT, construction, and engineering personnel.
Business Partners: OEM partners, hospital vendors including RIS and PACS providers, and hospital contractors.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $104,000 - $156,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
