DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a HEMA Lead Central & Eastern Europe.
Job Summary
The HEMA Lead, Central & Eastern Europe, leads Health Economics & Market Access strategy and execution across the Central & Eastern Europe markets. The role is responsible for shaping access strategy, leading payer and HTA engagement, and ensuring successful reimbursement and adoption of innovative orthopaedic solutions in line with Depuy Synthes and EMEA priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the HEMA strategy for CEE, in alignment with EMEA priorities and ways of working
Lead clustered access strategy across heterogeneous HTA and reimbursement systems, balancing EMEA consistency with strong local adaptation.
Develop and deliver market access and funding strategies to enable adoption and sustainable growth.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with payers, HTA bodies, institutional decision-makers and relevant authorities to shape the external environment and advance value-based adoption.
Lead EMEA-aligned evidence generation and value creation activities (and translate insights into local value messages, tools and materials.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Medical/Clinical and Regulatory teams to develop and execute market access and reimbursement strategies across the product lifecycle.
Ensure effective deployment of health economic tools, value assets and training to enable internal stakeholders and strengthen field activation.
Monitor execution against HEMA priorities and business objectives, ensuring alignment to agreed plans, milestones and governance expectations.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality, ethics and local regulatory requirements, consistent with EMEA HEMA standards.
Scope & Impact
Strategic responsibility for HEMA outcomes across the Central & Eastern Europe (multi-HTA & reimbursement environments) scope, with high autonomy and material impact on market access success, innovation adoption and revenue sustainability.
External Engagement Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate external engagement activities across the CEE cluster, including interactions with HTA bodies, payers, institutions, and relevant external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and strategic HEMA representation across diverse markets.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Health Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences or related field.
7+ years of experience in HEMA or Market Access roles, including leadership of complex national or multi-country strategies.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and external decision-makers.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
zł318.000,00 - zł547.400,00
