We are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance Compliance who is strategic, collaborative, and relentlessly quality-driven to join our Site Quality – QA Compliance team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.
About the role
You are going to set the pace for regulatory compliance and inspection readiness across our pharmaceutical manufacturing site. You will lead the site Quality Management System governance, strengthen a proactive and risk-based compliance approach, and champion a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility. You will oversee key compliance processes, audits, deviations, corrective and preventive actions, change control, data integrity, and risk management, so you will help protect patients, products, and reliable supply.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with the Site Quality leadership and partner daily with Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and global Quality colleagues to keep the site in a sustained state of control. You will also collaborate with quality systems and continuous improvement experts who focus on optimizing quality processes, reinforcing standards, and enabling operational excellence across site activities and supporting services.
What you will do
• You will drive inspection readiness and sustained compliance across manufacturing, testing, and all supporting site services.
• You will lead Quality Management System governance, ensuring robust oversight of deviations, corrective actions, and change control.
• You will coordinate regulatory and customer inspections, including preparation, hosting, and timely, high-quality response packages.
• You will lead internal and external audit strategy, ensuring effective follow-up, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement outcomes.
• You will manage the site data integrity office, define the roadmap, and strengthen oversight for equipment-related data.
• You will build, coach, and inspire a high-performing compliance team and develop a practical learning and training culture.

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
• You will bring a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• You will have 10+ years in a regulated pharmaceutical or life-sciences environment, including 5+ years in Quality Assurance.
• You will demonstrate strong people leadership experience, motivating and developing teams of quality professionals.
• You will show expertise in quality systems governance and internal/external auditing within manufacturing environments.
• You will apply risk analysis and mitigation methods with confidence and sound, fact-based decision making.
• You will communicate fluently in French and English, influencing stakeholders with clarity, diplomacy, and accountability.
