Your new role

As a GMP Coordinator at Koriyama Factory, you will be the key link between local production operations and global quality standards, ensuring GMP compliance across the site. Reporting directly to the Head of Production, you will drive cross-functional collaboration and maintain close communication with global stakeholders to uphold the highest manufacturing standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and maintaining GMP compliance across production, engineering, QA, and QC functions at the Koriyama Factory

Serving as the primary point of contact for global GMP-related communication, aligning local practices with Novo Nordisk’s global standards

Facilitating wide cross-functional interactions between departments to ensure consistent quality and compliance

Supporting preparation for and follow-up on inspections and audits from regulatory authorities

Driving continuous improvement initiatives related to GMP processes and documentation

Translating global requirements into actionable local procedures and ensuring their implementation

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a GMP Coordinator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and enjoys bridging local operations with global teams. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Preferably 3+ years of experience in Production, Engineering, QA, or QC within the pharmaceutical industry; experience from medical device, food, or cosmetics industries is also relevant, provided you have solid GMP knowledge

Strong understanding of GMP regulations and their practical application in a manufacturing environment

Business-level English (required) for daily communication with global colleagues and stakeholders

Preferably fluent Japanese to collaborate effectively with local teams

Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across functions and build relationships at all levels
