Major Accountabilites:
This role oversees the Hong Kong team, the development and execution of portfolio and brand strategies to achieve strategic and financial goals in partnership with key stakeholders in the local and regional/global ecosystem.
Ensure resources and initiatives are deployed/re-allocated in an agile way to drive highest possible value through in-depth knowledge of ecosystem drivers.
Ensures business operations based on the highest standards of ethics, compliance and quality when educating, promoting, selling and distributing their products by complying with UCB code of business conduct and industry guidelines.
Ensure that strategy is adjusted to ecosystem’s needs and generated insights , in alignment with product’s strategic priorities, maximizing patient value creation and developing brand objectives.
Overall accountability on delivery of financial targets.
Demonstrates long-term strategic commitment to our pipeline by alignment with t he regional and global teams, medical & access stakeholders and setting up local launch-teams to achieve successful launches.
Makes sure appropriate level of capabilities within area e.g. that relevant roles are deployed, and that all members of the Local Patient Value Unit have training and resources to execute effectively and adjust where necessary to reflect changing market inputs.
Provides senior level support and presence in relation to thought leaders , KOL’s and other key clinicians, as well as key payers, networks, and other key stakeholders in the health systems.
Leads the deployment of our PVS culture with the patient as the “True North” by embedding PVS principles into the are teams to establish a sustainable competitive advantage
Works in close collaboration with the regional/global teams to ensure implementation of UCB global brand strategies and priorities (adapted to local ecosystem needs)
Drives innovation by use of digitalization opportunities such as artificial intelligence and adapts based on impact seen
Key Deliverables:
Lead and develop Hong Kong business (direct reports include: Marketing Solution Lead, Access Lead, Ecosystem/Sales Lead and Medical)
Develop goals, direction, and strategic priorities
Delivery of financial targets
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
Experience Requirement:
At least 15 year’s leadership experience in relevant cross-functional disciplines in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. Marketing, Medical, Managed Markets and/or Sales)
At least 5 years’ experience with P&L responsibility
Bachelor's degree, master's preffered
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Able to analyze trends, patient journey/breakpoints, understand priority stakeholder needs across eco-systems in order to align priorities
Strong internal and external collaboration and networking skills
Able to lead and collaborate effectively in a global, agile matrixed environment
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; should be an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within the company, customers & patients
