Role Summary

The Global / US Senior Director, Insights, Analytics & Forecasting leads an integrated function that shapes strategy, quantifies opportunities and risks, and drives better business decisions across the TA / brand portfolio.

The role brings together Business Insights, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting to provide a clear external perspective, evaluate strategic choices, and support forward-looking business planning.

It combines analytical depth, executive influence and transformational leadership to turn insight into action, strengthen performance, and build future-ready capability through AI, digital innovation and talent development.

Team Overview

This role leads the US and Global TA / brand Insights, Analytics & Forecasting team, including Business Insights, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting specialists.

The team is accountable for:

Provide an externally anchored view of markets, patients and competitors

Turn data into clear strategic choices and business recommendations

Quantify opportunities and risks through forecasting and scenario planning

Embed AI, automation and digital capability to improve speed and impact

As a strategic partner to Commercial VPs and cross-functional leaders, this role ensures insights drive portfolio strategy and in-market execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Integrated IA&F Function

Lead Insights, Analytics and Forecasting as one integrated organisation with clear accountability and strong delivery

Build a high-performing team and develop future leaders across all three capability areas

Set effective operating models and ways of working across Global and US teams

2. Shape Strategy and Business Decisions

Generate an externally anchored point of view on markets, patients and competitors

Turn insights into strategic choices that shape portfolio, brand and investment decisions

Ensure the function delivers measurable business impact

3. Advance Analytics, AI and Forecasting

Use advanced analytics, forecasting and AI-enabled approaches to quantify opportunities and guide decisions

Apply rigorous scenario planning, experimentation and data-driven evaluation

Translate complex outputs into clear recommendations for senior leaders

4. Connect Global and US Execution

Align enterprise priorities with US market realities

Ensure consistent insight generation while adapting to regional needs

Partner across Commercial, Medical, Finance and Market Access to support execution

5. Build Capability and Lead Transformation

Modernise the function through AI, automation and scalable data products

Build organisational agility, experimentation and digital fluency

Coach leaders, strengthen the talent pipeline and lead change effectively

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in science, business or a related field

Significant pharmaceutical industry experience, including commercial strategy, insights, analytics or forecasting

Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across Insights, Analytics and Forecasting

Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and ability to shape portfolio and brand decisions

Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and translating analysis into action

Experience leading change, transformation and capability building at scale

Experience with AI-enabled analytics, digital tools and modern data ecosystems

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and develop others

Desirable

Advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD or equivalent

Experience across both Global and US markets

Experience leading digital or organisational transformation

Experience across one or more therapeutic areas and/or brands

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $218,329 to $327,494. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
