Your Role:

Lead global drug development program teams (early or late stage) as per Research and Development Governance ( RDG)

Oversee cross-functional program management activities for Discovery Program Team (DPT) and/or Global Program Team (GPT) from Exploratory Development (ED) to market launch and life-cycle management.

Collaborate with Global Program Head (GPH) and team members to drive the Integrated Evidence Plan.

Own the integrated program plan, including budget, timelines, and scenario planning aligned with the High-level Operational Plan.

Proactively identify and manage program-level risks and decision-making processes at key inflection points.

Work with GPT members to create high-quality data packages for governance and fast decision-making.

Shape program strategy and prioritize overall success while considering enterprise operational strategies.

Manage Program Steering Team (PST) meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-up on action items.

Develop GPT and PST charters to define roles, communication plans, and performance reviews.

Coordinate information flow within the GPT and align best practices across the organization.

Oversee internal and external program reporting and communication in collaboration with the GPH.

Act as a change agent for continuous improvement within the GPT.

Lead the cross-functional Project Management Expert Team to enhance the project management excellence within the GPT.

Partner with Business Development on licensing opportunities.

Collaborate closely with strategic alliance partners for jointly developed programs.

Work closely with Portfolio Management to provide quality data for program evaluation as part of strategic planning.

Validate and sign-off on program-level financial data for Strategy Development (SD) and forecast cycles.

Share knowledge and mentor others to enhance Global Program Management performance.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor ’ s degree in Life Sciences or related field with 10-15+ years in drug development within the global pharmaceutical or related industry, including 6+ years within program management OR Advanced degree (MBA, Masters or PhD)  in Life Sciences or related field with 7-10+ years in drug development within the global pharmaceutical or related industry, including 4+ years within program management

Strong understanding of the drug development process and critical thinking skills.

Advanced experience in situational leadership, managing cross functional teams and influencing without authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (e.g., PMP)

Ability to resolve complex issues and manage stakeholder interactions independently.

Proficient in managing program complexity, financial valuations, risk management, and scenario planning.

On-site Billerica, MA

Pay Range for this position: $159,200- $238,800. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
