Purpose:

The Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL) for Psoriatic Disease (Director) leads global medical affairs strategy, clinical-commercial optimization, and lifecycle planning for icotrokinra and pipeline assets. In close collaboration with Regional Medical Affairs, GMA Strategy and Execution, and Clinical Development, the GMAL develops integrated medical strategies and cross-regional plans that support asset development and worldwide execution. The GMAL represents the medical function on key cross-functional teams including Safety Management Teams, Compound Development Teams, and the 3M team (Medical/Marketing/Market Access). Role reports to the Head, Global Medical Affairs, Psoriatic Disease.

You will be responsible for:

Develop and lead global medical affairs strategies and plans aligned with prioritized regional needs

Collaborate closely with Regional Medical Affairs for alignment on plans and decisions

Lead global publications strategy and planning including manuscripts, abstracts, and posters

Oversee global KOL communications and speaker development

Review scientific materials to ensure alignment with strategy and communication quality

Lead global opinion leader engagement and advisory boards across therapeutic areas

Represent medical affairs on Safety Management Team(s) (SMT), Compound Development Team(s) (CDT) and Global Commercial Team(s) (GCT)

Oversee global medical activities, including launch activities, congresses, and symposia.

Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson compliance standards

Review Medical Information Core Responses

Qualifications / Requirements:

Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required

A minimum of 8 years of combined relevant experience in a medical/clinical environment and/or scientific function in the pharmaceutical industry is required

Global medical affairs experience strongly preferred

Therapeutic expertise in dermatology highly preferred

Established network with therapeutic-area opinion leaders preferred

Launch experience preferred

Ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional teams

Knowledge of clinical study methodology, data interpretation, and benefit-risk management

Ethical decision-making and ability to innovate in complex environments

Up to 25% domestic and international travel

This position is located in Horsham, PA and follows a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remotely per week
