Title: Finance Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support

Assist in preparing monthly management reports, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.

Support data collection, validation, and consolidation for budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

Maintain and update data in financial tools and templates (Excel, Anaplan, Hyperion).

Help prepare presentation slides for SEA leadership meetings and financial reviews.

Perform master data maintenance and ensure data accuracy.

2. Reporting & Accounting Assistance

Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal templates, accrual tracking, and reconciliations.

3. Business Partnering Exposure

Support ad-hoc analysis on sales performance, operating expenses trends, and cost efficiency.

Participate in meetings with finance business partners to observe how financial insights support decision-making.

4. Process Improvement Initiatives

Collaborate with Country Finance Managers (both FP&A and F&A) to understand current process and improvement area.

Document key finance processes and assist in identifying simplification and standardization opportunities.

Support automation or template optimization projects to enhance reporting efficiency.

Learn and apply new tools (e.g., Power BI, ChatGPT) to deliver real-time insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with process mapping tools such as Miro Software is a plus.

High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.

Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable working both independently and in a team environment.

Interest in learning new techniques (e.g., Power BI, ChatGPT) to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication in English
