Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Office/Deliver   EHSS   Specialist – China,   located   in Shanghai.

This role supports the   delivery of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Sustainability programs   across DePuy Synthes’ Shanghai, Hong Kong & Taiwan operations. The Office/Deliver Specialist plays a   hands ‑ on   role in coordinating daily activities,   maintaining   compliance documentation, tracking performance metrics, and supporting site initiatives that protect employees, facilities, and the environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to EH&S, sustainability, and corporate operations while contributing to a safe, compliant, and responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Support   day ‑ to ‑ day   delivery of EHS and sustainability services across assigned facilities, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.

Complete and   submit   Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead EHSS compliance activities such as documentation, reporting, audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.

Coordinates facilities, equipment, and operations inspections to   identify   and evaluate risk factors and   eliminate   potential hazards and/or hazardous processes.

Administers EHSS-based education programs, from employee safety training programs to site-specific certification courses.

Maintain   accurate   records, dashboards, and records related to facilities operations, sustainability metrics, and EHSS programs.

Partner with internal stakeholders (Facilities, EH&S, Sustainability, and Corporate Operations teams) to support initiatives and resolve operational issues.

Support sustainability and environmental programs, including waste, energy, and resource management activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by   identifying   process gaps and recommending practical solutions.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree   required , preferably in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or   a related   field.

Relevant coursework or certifications in EH&S or sustainability are a plus.

Experience and Skills

Required:   Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant EHSS experience or related field.

Experience with EHSS regulations, sustainability programs, or environmental reporting.

Experience supporting administrative, operational, or service delivery activities in a corporate environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Proficiency   with standard office software ( e.g.   Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).

Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.

Preferred:

Experience working in facilities management, EH&S, sustainability, or corporate operations environments.

Experience coordinating with vendors or service providers.

Experience leading audits, inspections, or   compliance ‑ related   activities.

Strong communication   skills and ability to work effectively with   cross ‑ functional   teams.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Other:

Languages:   Mandarin Chinese   required ; basic English   proficiency   preferred.

Travel:   Limited; primarily local/ site ‑ based .

Certifications:   EH&S or sustainability certifications are preferred but not   required .
