THE OPPORTUNITY

This role supports the delivery of   environmental, health & safety (EH&S) and sustainability programs   across DePuy Synthes sites in   Australia and New Zealand , with a strong focus on   office, facilities, and corporate operations environments . The Office/Delivery Specialist partners with local and regional stakeholders to help implement sustainability initiatives, track EH&S performance, and ensure alignment with corporate standards and local regulations.   This is an opportunity to contribute directly to   safe workplaces, responsible operations, and sustainability outcomes , supporting DePuy Synthes’ commitment to patients, employees, communities, and the environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support day ‑ to ‑ day delivery of EHS and sustainability services across assigned facilities, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.

Complete and submit Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead EHSS compliance activities such as documentation, reporting, audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.

Coordinates facilities, equipment, and operations inspections to identify and evaluate risk factors and eliminate potential hazards and/or hazardous processes.

Administers EHSS-based education programs, from employee safety training programs to site-specific certification courses.

Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and records related to facilities operations, sustainability metrics, and EHSS programs.

Partner with internal stakeholders (Facilities, EH&S, Sustainability, and Corporate Operations teams) to support initiatives and resolve operational issues.

Support sustainability and environmental programs, including waste, energy, and resource management activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending practical solutions.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science , Sustainability, Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Business, or   a related   field

Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant EHSS experience or related field.

Experience with EHSS regulations, sustainability programs, or environmental reporting.

Experience supporting administrative, operational, or service delivery activities in a corporate environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Proficiency   with standard office software ( e. g.   Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).

Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.

Desirable:

Additional   coursework or certification in EH&S or sustainability

Experience working in facilities management, EH&S, sustainability, or corporate operations environments.

Experience coordinating with vendors or service providers.

Experience leading   audits, inspections, or   compliance ‑ related   activities.

Strong communication   skills and ability to work effectively with   cross ‑ functional   teams.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Familiarity with environmental or workplace safety regulations in Australia and/or New Zealand.

Other

Language:   English (required).

Travel:   Limited; u p to ~10% regional travel (Australia/New Zealand), as needed.

Certifications:   EH&S or sustainability certifications (preferred, not   required ).

Work Authorization:   Must be eligible to work in Australia.
