The Domain Solution Architect – Drug Development designs and supports technology solutions across the pharmaceutical R&D lifecycle. This role ensures that digital solutions align with business needs, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements to enable efficient, compliant, and data driven drug development.

Working closely with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and IT stakeholders, you will translate scientific and operational needs into scalable solution architectures spanning non clinical research, clinical development, regulatory submission support, and R&D platforms (e.g. Veeva Vault, LIMS).

Job Summary

The Domain Solution Architect – Drug Development designs and supports technology solutions across the pharmaceutical R&D lifecycle. This role ensures that digital solutions align with business needs, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements to enable efficient, compliant, and data‑driven drug development.

Working closely with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and IT stakeholders, you will translate scientific and operational needs into scalable solution architectures spanning non‑clinical research, clinical development, regulatory submission support, and R&D platforms (e.g. Veeva Vault, LIMS).

Key Responsibilities

Define and document solution architectures supporting drug development and regulatory domains

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g. GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity)

Apply architecture patterns and integration principles to enable interoperable, reusable solutions

Contribute to domain architecture roadmaps and architectural standards

Support adoption of digital and data‑driven capabilities, including analytics and automation

Collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams and vendors

Required Experience & Skills

Experience in solution or domain architecture within pharma or life sciences R&D

Strong understanding of drug development processes and supporting systems

Proven delivery experience in regulated environments

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)

Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and consulting skills

Comfortable working in complex, evolving, and highly regulated contexts
