Key Responsibilities  

Translate enterprise and regional direction into district strategy with clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and disciplined execution rhythms.

Lead and develop a high-performing team through hiring excellence, performance management, and development planning that strengthens bench and readiness.

Provide advanced coaching and mentoring that strengthens selling effectiveness, clinical execution using approved resources, and business acumen across the team.

Drive demand generation and care transitions execution across outpatient and inpatient settings, aligning execution to local system dynamics and key stakeholders.

Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders and strengthen cross-functional partnerships that improve customer experience and execution outcomes.

Anticipate market dynamics using internal and external data to adjust strategy, remove barriers, and protect or grow performance.

Influence internal partners across Sales leadership, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Marketing by providing field insights that strengthen strategy and plans.

Reinforce a culture of accountability, inclusion, and team health while setting clear expectations and supporting the team through change.

Adhere to Healthcare Compliance policies and guidelines while modeling a strong compliance mindset and reinforcing accountability across the team.

Use evolving, approved AI-enabled tools where available to scale best practices, strengthen strategic planning, and elevate team execution while maintaining privacy, data integrity, and policy alignment.

Qualifications / Requirements 

Education: 

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred.

Required: 

A valid driver’s license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States.

A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in sales and/or cross-functional commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry.

A minimum of two (2) years of direct sales management experience, including leading through change and strong performance management and development planning capability.

The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.

Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience defining collaboration approaches, aligning cross-functional partners, removing barriers, and influencing outcomes beyond the district through shared execution.

Leading Others: Experience coaching others to lead effectively, anticipating and leading change, building followership, and driving clarity and prioritization across team and peer groups.

Coaching: Experience designing coaching approaches, adapting coaching strategies to individual needs, and guiding others through coaching challenges to improve outcomes.

Developing Others: Experience creating development pathways through feedback and experiences, building bench strength, and supporting succession readiness through skill transfer and exposure.

Strategic Thinking: Experience using internal and external data to build compliant integrated district plans, align customer priorities with business goals, and translate strategy into clear execution expectations.

Data Savvy: Experience establishing best practices for data-driven decision making, using performance insights to identify trends and shape strategy, and leveraging evolving approved AI-enabled tools where available while maintaining privacy, data integrity, and policy alignment.

Preferred: 

Demonstrated enterprise influence, including leading initiatives beyond the district or contributing to regional programs that scale best practices.

Experience in the gastroenterology therapeutic area, including leading execution in complex systems and stakeholder environments.

Deep experience in large account management and access and reimbursement dynamics across systems.

Experience leading district-wide or regional capability-building, change management, or strategic execution initiatives.

Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time.

Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted, responsible AI use and sound judgment in applying AI-enabled insight.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$130,000.00 - $224,250.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
