District Manager - Cardiovascular, Barcelona - Valencia

What you will do
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving business performance and leading a high-performing sales team within the Cardiovascular area. As a District Manager, you will own the execution of the commercial strategy at regional level, maximizing revenue and market share while ensuring alignment with national objectives.
You will play a critical role in developing talent, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence, and leading customer-centric strategies across your territory.
Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives, building a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
Build and develop a high-performing team through effective recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and talent development.
Maximize regional revenue and market share by driving sales performance and execution excellence.
Own regional business performance, including sales targets, KPIs, and execution of the Cardiovascular commercial strategy.
Translate national brand strategies into effective regional action plans, ensuring strong execution and local relevance within the Cardiovascular landscape.
Define, implement, and monitor territory action plans (POAs) to ensure effective execution of commercial strategies.
Analyze sales performance and market dynamics to identify opportunities and define action plans to maximize results.
Drive excellence in execution across all promotional activities and customer interactions.
Track and optimize field force effectiveness through performance metrics and continuous improvement actions.
Set clear priorities and ensure alignment and focus of the team on key business drivers.
Monitor and manage territory budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively.
Anticipate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Cardiovascular environment to adapt strategies proactively.
Lead customer engagement strategies within the region, ensuring a strong customer-centric approach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (cardiologists, internists, hospital stakeholders, etc.).
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, and Market Access to ensure consistent and impactful execution.
Lead performance management processes, including regular feedback, evaluations, and development plans.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in people management, with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams.
Experience as District Manager or similar leadership role within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Experience in Cardiovascular therapeutic area strongly preferred.
Strong business acumen and results orientation, with demonstrated ability to drive revenue and market share.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action plans.
Strong customer orientation and understanding of the Cardiovascular healthcare environment.
Experience working in cross-functional environments.
Familiarity with CRM tools and multichannel engagement.
High level of proactivity, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Acts as a role model aligned with company values and leadership principles.
