Business Performance Director

What you will do

In this vital role within the Results Delivery Office (RDO), you will be responsible for advancing and scaling Process Intelligence capabilities to support enterprise transformation priorities, including process simplification, automation, and value realization.

This role focuses on executing prioritized transformation initiatives, enabling capability adoption, and strengthening the operating model, governance, and delivery infrastructure for Process Intelligence across the enterprise.

Process Intelligence is a data-driven approach to creating process transparency, leveraging process mining, analytics, and business expertise to uncover how end-to-end processes are actually executed, identify improvement opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes.

You will work across business, technology, and transformation teams to ensure Process Intelligence is embedded, scalable, and delivering sustained business value.

Key Responsibilities

Execution & Value Delivery

Lead execution of Process Intelligence activities across prioritized enterprise transformation initiatives

Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, deliverables, and measurable outcomes

Drive identification and realization of value through process optimization, automation, and performance improvement

Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives

Capability Enablement & Scaling

Develop and enhance supporting structures, tools, and methodologies to scale Process Intelligence adoption

Enable and support functional transformation teams in applying Process Intelligence capabilities

Build and manage knowledge repositories of process insights, benchmarks, and best practices

Promote reuse of assets, standard approaches, and scalable delivery models

Governance & Operating Model

Support establishment and evolution of governance frameworks, standards, and KPIs for Process Intelligence

Ensure alignment with enterprise transformation goals and value tracking mechanisms

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner closely with RDO, Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI), and functional business teams

Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on process performance and improvement opportunities

Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution and adoption

Facilitate effective communication of insights and outcomes to executive audiences

Technical & Analytical Leadership

Oversee deployment and application of process mining, task mining, and analytics tools

Guide teams in transforming complex process data into actionable insights and business decisions

Support evaluation, testing, and onboarding of new Process Intelligence technologies

Provide input into future-state tool strategy and data requirements

People & Capability Leadership

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation

Provide thought leadership on best practices in process analysis, mining, and performance management

Enable capability uplift across both direct and indirect teams

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience

or

Master’s degree and 7 years of experience

or

Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience

In data science, business analytics, process improvement, engineering, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

Leadership & Execution

Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes

Strong ability to translate strategy into execution and operationalize capabilities

Experience managing both direct teams and matrixed environments

Process Intelligence & Technical Expertise

Deep experience in process mining, process analysis, and performance optimization

Hands-on experience with tools such as Celonis, Signavio, UiPath Process Mining

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Ability to work with large, complex, and unstructured datasets

Understanding of automation technologies (RPA, AI/analytics)

Strategy, Governance & Value Realization

Experience establishing governance frameworks, KPIs, and value tracking mechanisms

Strong understanding of enterprise transformation and continuous improvement methodologies

Business & Stakeholder Leadership

Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment

Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex insights into clear business outcomes

Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
