Communications and Government Affairs (CGA) plays a critical role in helping build confidence in our science, shaping policy and stakeholder understanding, supporting launches, and ensuring patient needs remain at the centre of our work.

As Director, CGA Product and Pipeline, you will lead integrated communications, policy and stakeholder engagement strategies for a defined set of respiratory assets. You will serve as the CGA lead on core asset teams and act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders. Working in a dynamic environment, you will help shape the external environment for successful development, approval, launch and adoption of innovative medicines, balancing long-term strategy with agile execution around data, regulatory and business milestones.

Key Responsibilities

This role is part of the Global Respiratory Communications & Government Affairs team and reports to the Head of Respiratory Immunology and Inflammation Communications & Government Affairs. In this role, you will:

Lead integrated Communications & Government Affairs strategies for a portfolio of respiratory medicines across development, launch and lifecycle management.

Serve as the CGA lead on cross-functional asset teams, shaping communications, policy and stakeholder engagement plans that support business objectives.

Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Development and Medical to provide strategic counsel and drive alignment on key priorities.

Develop compelling narratives and engagement strategies that communicate the value of GSK's science, innovation and clinical data to external audiences.

Lead global launch communications, advocacy and policy initiatives, working closely with regional and local teams to maximise impact in priority markets.

Prepare senior leaders and spokespeople for high-profile external engagement and ensure consistent, high-quality communications across channels.

Anticipate and manage issues, reputation risks and external developments to help protect and strengthen trust in GSK and its respiratory portfolio

Why You?

Required Skills And Experience

Significant experience in Communications, Government Affairs, Public Affairs or Corporate Affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare sector.

Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for medicines or healthcare-related initiatives.

Respiratory experience/understanding of the respiratory landscape is preferred.

Experience supporting product development, regulatory milestones, data communications, congress communications, launch readiness and/or product launches.

Experience partnering with senior leaders and providing strategic counsel in complex business environments.

Experience managing agencies and leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple markets and geographies.

Attributes

Work Arrangements

This role offers a hybrid working model, with a mix of on-site and remote work. Fully remote or home-working arrangements are not available for this role.
