Job Description Summary

The Oncology Diagnostic Manager (ODM) will leverage current diagnostic market and clinical test market experience that will make an impact within a large, global pharmaceutical company.

The ODM ensures the timely, high quality in-market companion diagnostics / testing solutions to enable optimal treatment throughout the patient journey. An important element of this role is therefore to work collaboratively with the cross functional field teams and execute on tactical plans with an understanding of clinical operational issues on the testing pathway developing tailored testing solutions as needed.

Job Description

Purpose

For the biomarkers and/or tumor types in his/her scope:

Ensure state-of-the-art expertise in terms of business understanding, how it can impact the lab organizations, what the market are trends and how customer needs evolve to optimally enable the 5 A's across key accounts

Design and help implement the national strategy for the biomarkers and/or tumor types in his/her scope, in consistency with overall OBU/Dx strategy

In collaboration with the Dx team (field / HQ), help prioritize levers, opportunities and challenges, help design and roll out projects

Key Activities

For the biomarkers and/or tumor types in his/her scope:

Stakeholder Mapping & Networking

Identify and engage with top decision-makers, influencers and experts to support the Dx strategy

Consolidate, analyze and interpret insights and market intelligence in the fields of interest

Dx Strategy Development

Identify and prioritize levers, opportunities and challenges at national level

Design the national strategy

Value Delivery

Support Dx team to understand and cascade locally the national strategy

Develop training and coaching modules related to the biomarkers and/or tumor types in scope

Engage with top decision-makers and influencers, to help overcome barriers across the 5 A's

Precision Medicine Market Shaping

Engage with KEE to craft guidelines and protocols, and anticipate market trends and needs

Identify opportunities for further actions, including external communication or broader partnerships

Collaborate with HQ for mapping, prioritizing and localizing the opportunities and challenges

Scientific background, with experience in lab, ideally PhD in related fields

Very strong knowledge of lab organization and Dx ecosystem

Project management, strategic thinking, communication skills
