YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

■Strategy & Transformation Leadership

- Define and implement the data science and AI strategy aligned with Japan and global objectives

- Lead AI-driven transformation initiatives to enhance customer engagement and commercial effectiveness

■Business Impact & Value Delivery

- Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders

- Lead high-impact projects such as marketing ROI and customer targeting

■Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead and develop a high-performing data science team

- Foster innovation, agility, and continuous learning

■Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with global teams to align on best practices

- Partner with business leaders to drive strategic initiatives

■Innovation & Technology Advancement

- Leverage emerging technologies such as Generative AI

- Drive development of scalable data products

■Develops and manages yearly budget and participates in negotiations with key data suppliers

WHO YOU ARE:

University Degree or above

Ideally 5 + years in AI, data science, analytics, or digital transformation

Minimum 4+ years´ experience managing analytics team with a proven track record of delivering business impact through data and talent development

Strong knowledge of Health Care environment across multiple segment is a plus, but candidates from other industries are very welcomed

Record of professional success, demonstrated through above-average performance reviews, promotions, and relevant professional and skill development activities/ engagements outside of work

Strong analysis and synthesis skills, including experience in facilitating insight generation via advanced analytics, AI/Machine Learning, data science

Experience in leading AI/Machine Learning driven solution development and

implementation to optimize commercial operations, optimize Return on Investment, optimize sales force sizing and structure, personalize customer experience through programmatic media, CRM, search, e-commerce and mobile apps

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive management to impact decision-making

Strategic business acumen, focus on results, passion for keeping up with media and technology trends. Strong communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, including team leadership, thought leadership, change management/transformative leadership and leadership awareness

Track-record of teamwork and collaboration skills; creating and leveraging a large personal network across the organization to understand business needs and contribute where appropriate

Impeccable ethics and integrity

Experience operating in a highly regulated environment and industry, which requires understanding of the imperative for compliance with company policies, procedures and other relevant internal or external laws, regulations and the like, is a plus.

Strong drive for results; operates effectively in a fast-paced environment and delivers results while balancing multiple priorities

Business level Japanese (N2 and above for non-Japanese candidates) and a good command of English
