About this opportunity

THE POSITION 

We are looking for a Commercial Engagement Liaison based in Ankara. This position will be responsible for the implementation and execution of short- and long-term goals and tactics, providing medico-marketing and scientific knowledge in collaboration with selected healthcare professionals and overlooking the creation and implementation of Key Account Plans in the region. Key responsibilities in the role include understanding customer needs and sharing commercial insights from market visits, creating content to support branded activities and contributing to the execution of strategies through action-focused commercial insights and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution of Development and Engagement Plans:

Ensure accuracy in mapping and profiling key stakeholders and speakers within the territory and make adjustments as needed to meet business needs

Contribute to systematic analysis and mapping of stakeholder network based on the understanding of the local healthcare landscape through frequent monthly visits

Organize and execute branded activities such as presentations, CME-2, Webcast, Satellite symposium in line with strategies

Insights Generation and Sharing:

Generate, synthesize and document commercial insights from Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within appropriate systems

Participate in discussions of commercial insights gathered to identify and understand changes in the healthcare landscape with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Business Unit (BU)

Ensure effective communication is maintained with sales and marketing teams for analysis of insights and feedback is provided

Compliance Adherence:

Ensure adherence of Boehringer Ingelheim policies and SOPs within local laws and regulations are maintained

Maintain code of conduct and report instances of unethical practices exhibited by competitors

Requirements:

Degree in Pharmacy or other related fields

1 to 2 years of experience in a similar or related role such as Medical Science Liaison is a plus

Experience in Rheumatology and/or Immunology therapeutic areas is preferred

Must own a valid driver's license with previous driving experience

Knowledge of local specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care is preferred

Experience in Pharmaceuticals in Turkey

Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Ability to collaborate, act as a motivated team player and maintain network of internal and external stakeholders

Excellent communication skills with proactive attitude and strong leadership

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with good business acumen

Strong level of emotional intelligence with ability to remain accountable and agile

Capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing workload
