The Opportunity

We are seeking a solution‑driven, results‑oriented Clinical Specialist to join our Joint Reconstruction team in NSW. Based in Sydney Metro and reporting to the Clinical Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting surgical procedures across our Hip and Knee portfolios, working closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons and Theatre teams to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Delivering high‑quality in‑theatre clinical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons, including in‑servicing, workshops, and education for hospital teams

Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with Surgeons and theatre staff, identifying opportunities and referring leads to the Sales team

Partnering closely with Product Specialists to drive product uptake, supporting launches, demonstrations, evaluations, and rollouts

Maintaining exceptional clinical and product expertise through continuous learning, ensuring clinical excellence and a consistently high standard of customer experience

About You

Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic etc.), and confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment

Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills

Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused

Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, and is organised with good time management skills

This position requires frequent travel to hospitals in the Sydney Metro area. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
