About this opportunity
The Position
Do you enjoy turning market insights into impactful brand initiatives? As the Brand Manager, Companion Animals, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, development, and implementation of commercial projects and campaigns across the portfolio, with the guidance and support of the Marketing Manager.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape brand plans, deliver marketing initiatives, and support the achievement of sales, growth, and market share objectives across the portfolio.
Task and Responsibilities
1. Market Analysis
Regularly Conduct market analysis, including reviews of competitor brands, products, marketing materials, and promotional programs, to identify market opportunities and support brand performance
Analyze industry market data and market share, and provide recommendations on sales targets, budgets, pricing, and market positioning
Develop, manage, and monitor direct promotion budgets in collaboration with the PET Business Unit
2. Strategic Planning and Brand Management
Lead the development and execution of brand strategies, brand plans, and promotional initiatives to meet brand objectives and customer and consumer needs
Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, stock management, and promotional planning in collaboration with the Sales Team and Supply Chain
Drive sales revenue, growth, and market share targets through the successful implementation of agreed action plans and campaigns
Manage the development and launch of new products, marketing campaigns, and brand materials in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external agencies
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver business objectives, support corporate promotional initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
About Our Future Employee
Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Business with a Marketing major, or alternatively in Science or Agri-science
3 to 5 years of experience in product management or a related marketing role
Experience within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant software tools, such as Drupal
