We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Regeneron Genetic Medicines group, supporting in vivo experiments for groundbreaking pre-clinical gene therapy programs. In this role, you will help translate research discoveries into therapeutic candidates, gaining exposure to multiple technologies from discovery phase through clinical development while collaborating in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Discover your role:

Support in vivo experiments, including injecting viral vectors and other compounds in mice, blood draws, and necropsies

Process various samples for downstream analysis

Develop and optimize in vivo techniques and translational assays to assess bio-distribution and efficacy of viral vectors in mice

Take meticulous notes and communicate professionally with both junior and senior colleagues

Work on multiple projects at once, comfortable with quickly shifting priorities

Collaborate closely with others in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Bring enthusiasm for working with animals and translating research into therapeutic candidates

This role requires:

Bachelor's degree in a related field

1+ years of relevant work experience, including mouse handling and familiarity with rodent injection and blood collection techniques

Experience with collection and preparation of multiple rodent tissue types for histological analysis

Ability to work on multiple projects at once

Preferred: comfort asking questions, taking notes, and summarizing high-level takeaways

Preferred: experience developing and optimizing protocols, assays, or SOPs
