Your new role

As an Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you will be the learning ambassador for your region, turning business and clinical insights into practical, evidence-based training that improves team performance and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR and field leaders to design, deliver and localise learning solutions, communicating the value of training while upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include

Coach and develop Rare Disease and Public Care field teams through regular field visits and on-the-job coaching.

Build capabilities in scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, account management, negotiation, and value-based customer conversations.

Strengthen team effectiveness in public healthcare systems, government reimbursement processes, institutional business, and market access.

Partner with Sales, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and regional leaders to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development initiatives.

Design and facilitate learning programmes, workshops, simulations, and capability-building interventions.

Monitor capability development outcomes and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

Support onboarding and development of new team members while fostering a coaching culture across the region.

Your new department

The Sales Training team at Novo Nordisk India sits within Commercial Capability Building - People & Organization. Here, we build commercial capability by creating and delivering focused learning solutions, classroom, virtual and on-the-job, that strengthen product knowledge, sales skills and leadership behaviours. Working closely with cross-functional departments, we translate strategy into learning roadmaps, measure impact and drive continuous improvement to enable better business performance.

Your skills & qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of field experience and a genuine passion for developing others. We're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science from a recognised institution

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sales Training function

At least 3 years' field sales experience in the pharma/healthcare sector (5+ years total field sales experience preferred)

Strong experience in Rare Disease, Public Care, Market Access, KAM, or Specialty Care businesses

Expertise in government reimbursement and institutional healthcare systems

Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills

Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities

Proven ability to drive capability development and field excellence

Creative, results-driven mindset with solid operational execution; professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus

Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required
