About This Role
As an Associate II, Quality Control, you will serve as a key member of the Quality Control Raw Materials/Sample Control team at the Biogen RTP Pharma site. In this role, you will be responsible for sampling and inspecting raw materials, as well as managing manufacturing, retain, and stability samples. You will ensure the proper handling, documentation, storage, distribution, and disposal of materials and samples in compliance with GMP requirements. Additionally, you will support laboratory operations through LIMS management, sample logistics, investigations, and other operational support activities. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will play an important role in achieving site quality objectives and maintaining compliance standards.
What You’ll Do
Perform raw material sampling and inspections
Pick up and deliver samples to the appropriate testing laboratories
Manage stability samples and deliver them to labs at appropriate intervals
Support QC operations in alignment with business and manufacturing schedules
Collaborate with various teams to support laboratory compliance and personal development
Enter data into electronic laboratory information management and inventory systems
Manage retention samples and training to sustain 100% compliance

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in science or related field
0- 2 years of relevant experience working in QC within a GMP pharma or biotech environment
Ability to move 50 lbs with the assistance of equipment as needed
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and coordinate multiple activities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Level: Entry Level
Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $57,000.00-$74,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
