Job Description

The Associate Director, Aesthetics PCS Strategic Planning and Operations reports to the VP of Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy and partners closely across the team. Key responsibilities include, serving as a trusted strategic advisor and counsel, overseeing strategic business initiatives, process improvement, planning and operational activities, and creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to enable organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and operational partner to the PCS Vice President, helping shape priorities, manage complexity, problem solve strategies, and improve team effectiveness

Lead franchise planning processes, including long-range strategic and financial planning, quarterly portfolio planning, and launch readiness

Design and coordinate strategic planning sessions, team meetings, and cross-functional forums; prepare agendas, materials, action tracking, and decision logs to ensure clear accountability and follow-through

Partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive alignment on key processes, milestones and activities

Oversee critical cross-functional initiatives, processes, and special projects, ensuring progress against milestones, risk mitigation, and escalation of issues as needed

Monitor key milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions across the franchise; establish transparent operating rhythms and reporting to support accountability and execution discipline

Stay abreast of new and evolving processes across the enterprise and new training opportunities for the team, representing the team’s needs and supporting participation as appropriate

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred MBA or Master’s Degree

5 years plus pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience is strongly preferred

Proven strategic capabilities, organization, and communication skills

Effective communication, organizational and leadership skills

Ability to work efficiently in a matrixed organization

Works well with cross-functional stakeholders and can own projects from idea phase to implementation, adapting and iterating as needed

Demonstrated relationship management, interpersonal skills, ability to motivate, lead, influence, and engage without direct authority.

Ability to effectively present ideas and document complex processes in both written and oral communication

Proven track record of anticipating and resolving problems while exhibiting judgement and a balanced, realistic understanding of issues

Able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with moderate-high complexity, often under a tight deadline
