About the role:
The Associate Director Professional Services is a senior category management role responsible for developing, managing and executing sourcing strategies across Professional Services and Corporate Spend categories.
The role requires extensive experience in managing professional services categories within a large multinational organization, including consulting, advisory, human capital management and corporate services. It is accountable for supplier strategy, governance, stakeholder partnering and enterprise-wide value delivery.
Your contribution:
Strategic Business Partnering & Category Strategy
Develop and evolve global category strategies for Professional Services
Define supplier segmentation, engagement models, and sourcing approaches
Ensure alignment with enterprise priorities, operating models, and long-term business needs
Partner with senior stakeholders across functions to shape demand and service models
Provide strategic advisory on sourcing approaches, external vs. internal delivery, and supplier selection
Translate business needs into scalable, globally aligned solutions
Supplier Strategy, Governance & Value Delivery
Design and manage a strategic supplier ecosystem for Professional Services, including consulting, advisory and functional services
Establish preferred supplier frameworks, governance models, KPIs and ways of working
Define and enforce procurement governance, policies, and standards for Professional Services
Lead complex negotiations and strategic supplier engagements
Drive supplier performance, innovation, consolidation and long-term value creation
Ensure consistency in procurement standards, processes and tools across regions
Create transparency on spend, supplier performance and value contribution
Drive enterprise-wide cost optimization, demand management and continuous improvement

A good match:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred
8–10+ years of experience in Procurement, Category Management or Professional Services sourcing
Strong experience managing Professional Services and Corporate Spend categories in a large multinational environment
Experience in Human Capital Management, consulting, advisory and/or functional services categories preferred
Proven track record in developing category strategies, managing strategic suppliers and leading complex sourcing initiatives
Strong understanding of global procurement operating models, governance frameworks and stakeholder management in matrix organizations
Experience driving cost optimization, supplier consolidation, demand management and value creation across complex service categories
