About the Job

The Associate Director, Field Reporting & Intelligence is a strategic leadership role responsible for advancing Sanofi’s commercial reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support capabilities across the US business. This individual will lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of field intelligence solutions that enable consistent, trusted, and scalable access to data-driven insights across the field organization.

This individual operates at the intersection of commercial analytics, data governance, semantic modeling, digital innovation, and AI implementation, ensuring structured reporting remains the foundation of decision-making while actively implementing, governing and scaling next-generation AI capabilities large language model (LLM) powered analytics, AI agents, and automated reporting workflows. As Sanofi continues to evolve its hub operating model, this role will focus increasingly on strategic ownership, governance, and product leadership. This enables a stronger focus on roadmap strategy, stakeholder engagement, data governance, and for-purpose AI-enabled analytics adoption at scale.

Main Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Field Intelligence Product Leadership

Lead strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of commercial reporting and analytics solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI and other enterprise tools)

Ensure structured reporting is the governed foundation for commercial decision-making, aligned to standardized KPIs, business definitions, and reporting logic.

Implement and govern AI powered conversational analytics capabilities by ensuring outputs are grounded in trusted reporting frameworks and trusted data sources.

Partner with Digital and Data teams to integrate AI tools and automation into the reporting ecosystem in a controlled and scalable manner

Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, insight generation, and user experience through automation and digital innovation to enhance productivity while maintaining explainability.

Semantic Governance & Data Stewardship

Serve as business owner for KPI definitions, semantic alignment, and reporting logic across commercial analytics platforms

Ensure consistency of business definitions across structured reporting and AI-enabled consumption layers

Act as key business context expert to ensure AI-generated insights are accurate, explainable, and commercially relevant

Partner with Data Engineering and Digital teams to ensure semantic models are reflected accurately across reporting and AI tools

Establish and enforce governance standards for reporting consistency, data integrity, and metric alignment

Operating Model & Hub Leadership

Define and manage operating model for commercial reporting, including intake, prioritization, and governance processes

Direct executional activities (development, QA, maintenance, and operational support) and ensure accountability of hub teams

Drive scalable, standardized ways of working across distributed teams to improve efficiency and quality

Implement AI-powered workflows for routine reporting tasks, freeing capacity for higher-value strategic work.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

Serve as strategic partner to Field Leadership, Brand Teams, and Commercial Operations on reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled insights

Lead communication of reporting changes, ensuring clarity, alignment, and stakeholder adoption

Enable adoption and effective use of structured reporting and AI-enabled tools through training, guidance, and engagement

Support change management efforts associated with analytics modernization and AI adoption

Insights & Decision Support

Translate complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights for field and business decision-making

Implement and scale self-service analytics and AI-enabled exploration capabilities

Ensure AI-generated insights are validated against governed reporting sources for accuracy and trust

About You

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

7+ years of experience in commercial reporting, analytics, or business intelligence (pharma/biotech preferred, consulting considered)

Experience with enterprise reporting tools (Qliksense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

Experience working with pharmaceutical commercial data sources and semantic data models, KPI governance, or business rules frameworks strongly preferred

Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, automation tools, or digital analytics capabilities

Experience working in or with offshore/Hub operating models preferred

Strong project and stakeholder management skills

Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels

$133,500.00 - $192,833.33
