Senior AI & Data Solutions Architect
Location - Ballerup
Your new role
As our Senior AI & Data Architect, you will lead the end-to-end architecture design for complex AI, advanced analytics, and data product initiatives across Commercial functions. You will be the bridge between business ambition and technical reality – translating strategic goals into scalable, production-grade solutions that drive measurable impact.
Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
Leading solution architecture design across data ingestion, data engineering, feature engineering, model development, deployment, integration, monitoring, and user consumption layers – ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and security
Partnering with AI Product Owners to pressure-test use cases for technical feasibility, architectural complexity, data readiness, scalability, and delivery risks
Defining architecture patterns for Machine Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, predictive analytics, optimization, and decision-support solutions
Guiding MLOps and LLMOps practices including model lifecycle management, monitoring, retraining, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and human-in-the-loop controls
Leading technical design discussions across Data Science, AI Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform, Architecture, Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and business teams
Defining data architecture for AI solutions – including sourcing, integration, transformation, storage, quality, lineage, governance, and access patterns
Developing and maintaining reference architectures, reusable design patterns, architecture playbooks, and technical guardrails that industrialise AI delivery across the organisation

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise in AI and data architecture with the leadership presence to influence decisions across a complex, global organisation. You will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience preferred)
10+ years of experience in AI/data solution architecture, enterprise architecture, data engineering, analytics, or digital solution delivery
5+ years of experience designing and delivering data, analytics, AI, Machine Learning, or cloud-based solutions at enterprise scale in complex, matrixed organisations
Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs while engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams spanning Data Science, Data Engineering, AI Engineering, Platform, Security, and Architecture
Hands-on experience with data platforms, cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, data governance, security, privacy, and production-grade AI deployment
Architecture, cloud, data, AI, or security certifications are an advantage

Salary
For this role, the Annual B ase S alary ranges from 847,000.00 to 1,245,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
