Area Business Manager - RAD
Area Business Manager - Radiology
Role Summary
The Area Business Manager (Radiology) is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, expanding market presence, ensuring effective distribution management, and maintaining compliance with company policies and processes. The role focuses on maximizing business opportunities across Government / institutional accounts and diagnostic centers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
Develop and expand business opportunities across government and private hospitals, diagnostic centers, and institutional healthcare customers to achieve territory growth objectives.
Ensure compliance with company sales processes, operating procedures, and business policies.
Identify, develop, and expand existing and new territories to maximize market penetration.
Deliver prompt and effective customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain strong customer relationships.
2. Collections & Credit Management
Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of the company's credit policy.
Monitor and control receivables to ensure timely collections.
Manage distributor claims efficiently and maintain financial discipline across the territory.
3. Distribution Management
Build and strengthen a profitable distribution network within the assigned territory.
Identify and appoint new distributors in line with corporate guidelines and policies.
Expand primary distribution coverage in underserved and high-potential markets.
Drive distributor engagement and performance to achieve business objectives.
4. Marketing & Sales Promotion
Ensure effective secondary sales coverage and market reach.
Plan and execute participation in exhibitions, conferences, roadshows, and trade events to enhance product visibility and business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to implement promotional initiatives and customer engagement programs.
Support market development activities to increase product adoption and market share.
5. Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate tracking of primary and secondary sales data, MIS reports, and business analytics.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports as per organizational requirements.
Adhere to all business processes, compliance standards, and administrative guidelines.
Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and operational excellence within the team.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Science / Pharmacy
Proven experience in Radiology/Contrast Media sales; experience in medical devices sales will be an added advantage.
Minimum 6 years of experience in institutional sales and account management.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Customer-centric approach with excellent relationship management abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and teams.
