About this opportunity

Your Role

You will serve as a preclinical safety pathologist, driving excellence in safety assessment and immune system pathology. You are responsible for generating and interpreting crucial pathology data to evaluate the risk profiles of drug candidates. In this role, you will conduct and supervise rodent and non-rodent necropsies, providing expert microscopic evaluation of tissue sections. You will correlate these results with organ weights, clinical pathology, and necropsy findings. Additionally, you will perform peer reviews, offer advanced diagnostic support, and act as a global subject matter expert during due diligence for licensing. You will also author scientific manuscripts and present research at internal and external venues.

Who You Are

Degree in Veterinary Medicine with DECVP or DACVP board certification.

Fluent in both italian and english.

Completed a formal residency or graduate pathology program.

Broad, proven background in toxicological pathology.

Strong interest or experience in immunotoxicology.

Self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills.

Fluent in verbal and written English and Italian.
