About this opportunity

Job Description

e Position

From experimenting with AI to owning it. From supporting change to leading it.

At Organon, we are building an AI-enabled way of working, one that helps our colleagues make sharper decisions, automate the mundane, and focus their energy where it matters most: improving everyday health for every woman. As our AI & Technology Analyst, you are a key architect of that transformation.

You bring experience and ownership. You design AI solutions, lead their delivery, and make sure they land durably in the business. You are the person others come to when they need someone who can both think strategically about AI and roll up their sleeves to make it work in practice. You are also a natural coach and multiplier, raising the capability of everyone around you.

If you are a medior professional who is restless about the potential of AI to reshape knowledge work, and you want to apply that conviction in a real, regulated, high-impact environment, this is your role.

Organizational Context

Business Technology (BT, IT & Automation) owns all IT systems and automation across the Oss manufacturing site, from PLC-level production automation to enterprise ERP. Increasingly, our most exciting work is in the middle: the AI and data layer that connects operational reality to business intelligence.

We work hand-in-hand with Integrated Process Teams (IPTs), Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and global BT colleagues to introduce solutions that genuinely change how work gets done. This role sits at the center of that effort, you are the person who moves initiatives from idea to impact, while keeping everything aligned with the compliance standards a regulated manufacturing environment demands.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the BT Lead for LCM, FM and Quality & Labs, you lead the design and delivery of AI and data solutions that help the Oss site work smarter. You own your initiatives end-to-end: from understanding the business challenge and designing the right approach, to building the solution, driving adoption, and measuring the outcomes.

You operate with significant autonomy, making judgment calls on solution design, tool selection, and prioritization. At the same time, you stay connected to your team, sharing knowledge, supporting junior colleagues, and contributing to a BT culture where AI literacy and innovation are part of everyday life.

Responsibilities

Lead AI Opportunity Discovery

You facilitate structured workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to identify where AI and advanced analytics can unlock meaningful value. You challenge assumptions, synthesize complex input into actionable problem definitions, and build the business case for AI initiatives, helping leadership make confident prioritization decisions.

AI opportunity assessments, prioritized initiative roadmaps, and business cases that connect technology choices to measurable operational and quality outcomes.

Design & Deliver AI Solutions

You own the full lifecycle of AI and analytics solutions: scoping, designing, building, testing, and handing them over to the business. You select fit-for-purpose tools and methods, from Power BI dashboards to Python-based models to generative AI integrations, and ensure every solution is scalable, compliant, and genuinely useful.

Deployed, validated AI and analytics solutions; solution design documents; test records; and handover documentation that meets GxP standards and business expectations.

Architect Data Flows & Models

You design the data structures, transformation logic, and governance frameworks that underpin reliable AI and analytics. You identify data quality issues, propose remediation, and build reproducible pipelines that give the business confidence in the numbers behind every decision.

Data models, pipeline documentation, data quality reports, and governance frameworks that make AI outputs trustworthy and audit-ready.

Lead Platform Strategy & Governance

You take ownership of our AI and Data & Analytics platform portfolio: evaluating new tools, governing access and usage, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements, and driving continuous improvement in how the business gets value from its technology investments.

Platform roadmap inputs, governance documentation, vendor assessments, and adoption metrics that inform BT strategy and demonstrate the ROI of AI investments.

Own Projects & Drive Outcomes

You lead project streams from initiation to close, managing scope, timeline, risks, and stakeholder communication with clarity and confidence. You keep senior leaders informed, escalate issues early, and create the conditions for your team members to deliver their best work.

Project plans, risk logs, steering updates, and delivery retrospectives that keep AI initiatives on track and generate learning the whole team benefits from.

Build Capability & Coach the Team

You are a multiplier. You actively transfer knowledge to junior colleagues and the wider team, create reusable assets (frameworks, templates, playbooks), facilitate learning sessions on AI tools and methods, and make it easier for business colleagues to grow their own digital confidence.

Coaching inputs, reusable frameworks and templates, training session materials, and knowledge articles that raise the AI fluency of the entire BT team and its business partners.

Navigate Compliance by Design

In a regulated manufacturing environment, every AI solution must be trustworthy and auditable. You interpret GxP, data integrity, and change control requirements and translate them into concrete design choices, building compliance in from the start rather than bolting it on at the end.

Compliant solution architectures, risk assessments, validation strategies, and change control documentation that allow AI solutions to operate confidently within a regulated context.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Completed HBO or WO degree in Information Technology, Business IT, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience delivering data, analytics, or AI solutions in a business context. Demonstrated ownership of at least one end-to-end solution delivery cycle. Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or regulated (GxP/GMP) environment is a meaningful advantage.

Confident working with Power BI, SQL, and Python. Hands-on experience with cloud or AI platforms (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, or similar). Ability to design data models and build analytics solutions independently. Experience with validation or test documentation in regulated environments is a plus.

You take ownership without being asked. You communicate with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences in Dutch and English. You are genuinely curious about AI, you follow the field actively, and you bring that knowledge back to the team. You coach naturally and make the people around you better.

You have prototyped or deployed a generative AI solution (RAG, prompt engineering, agent-based workflows). You have experience with MLOps, data governance, or enterprise AI governance frameworks. You have presented an AI business case to senior stakeholders and moved it forward.

What We Offer

End-to-end ownership of AI initiatives that directly improve how medicines are made and delivered.

A seat at the table when BT strategy is shaped, your expertise informs the direction we take.

A team of driven, curious colleagues around you, and a broader BT organisation that invests in your growth.

Access to cutting-edge AI platforms and the mandate to experiment, evaluate, and implement.

Visible impact: your solutions help Organon fulfil its mission of a better and healthier every day for every woman.

A culture built on our values: Be Real, Own It, Rise Together, Keep Moving, Bring Your Fire, We All Belong.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
